Jean-René Watchou

Jean-Rene Watchou is originally from Cameroon in West Africa. He holds a Master’s degree in International Development from Lafollette School of Public Affairs (UW- Madison). Jean-Rene joined the CPC staff in 2008 as Director of International Outreach Ministry where he organized the Community Immigration Law Center, a community-based immigration service which provides free services to the community. Jean-Rene currently serves as Executive Director of Madison International Partners, a non-profit organization which is an outgrowth of the CPC’s International Outreach Ministry. The organization extends God’s love, welcome and hospitality to internationals, and promotes in-depth, cross-cultural exchanges between Americans and internationals, fostering better understanding among people of different races, cultures, religions, and social backgrounds living in Madison.
