The Compassion Fund is a special fund established to provide help for financial needs of the extended Christ Presbyterian community, including members, friends of members, and regular attenders. A committee of three deacons makes the decisions on whether and how much financial assistance should be provided.

We encourage members of the wider community to work with Joining Forces for Families, which is an organization that CPC has partnered with and that provides an array of social services as a comprehensive approach to helping various needs.

In the past year, the Compassion Fund has helped people with their rent, with car repairs, with utility bills, with medical costs and with many other urgent needs. The money for the fund comes from past gifts from members of Christ Presbyterian as well as ongoing donations designated for the Compassion Fund.
