We lament the brutal and fundamentally unjust killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and so many other black people. We grieve with our brothers and sisters of color, many of whom experience racism more often than we can realize. Racism remains a deeply embedded sin in our broken nation. Knowing that silence makes us complicit in this sin, we cry out against this injustice. We uplift the dignity and value of people of color as beloved children of God. “Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever flowing stream.” (Amos 5:24)

The Elders at Christ Presbyterian Church - Madison, Wisconsin

A Community Centered in Christ…

Welcome to Christ Presbyterian Church

Founded in 1851, Christ Presbyterian Church is deeply rooted in Madison. Our members come from all parts of the city and surrounding communities, and represent a wide range of backgrounds: lifelong Wisconsinites and internationals; older adults and families with young children; those raised in the church and those new to the faith. We strive to be a congregation that gathers in love, grows by grace, and goes forth to serve.
