Maundy Thursday
April 17 at 6:30pm
On Maundy Thursday, we will gather at tables in the Sanctuary, just as Jesus gathered with his disciples before he was arrested. As we pray, sing, share the Lord’s Supper, and enjoy a light meal, we answer Christ’s invitation to friendship and mutual love. Childcare will be available.

Good Friday
April 18 at 6:30pm
On Good Friday, our worship will take on the form of an extended meditation at the foot of the cross. Our words, music, and actions will explore the mystery and meaning of God’s self-sacrifice. The musical centerpiece this evening will be Craig Phillips’ setting of the Passion According to John sung by soloists and the Chancel Choir. Childcare will be available.

Easter Story Hunt
Saturday, April 19 at 1:00pm
Join us for an interactive experience for all ages. Part retelling of the greatest story ever told, part scavenger hunt and part Easter weekend fun — indoors mainly but also some outdoor fun in Castlescape weather permitting. This is a GREAT event to invite friends!
We do need volunteers to help make this event run smoothly. We could use help with setup and takedown as well as readers and actors. Any age can participate and/or help!

Easter Sunday
April 20, 9am & 11am
9am Contemporary Worship
We will gather to witness, praise, and affirm the liberating reality of Christ’s death and resurrection. During this service, our house band and the Camerata String Quartet will add color and vibrancy to our sung proclamation.
11am Classical Worship
On Easter Sunday we join Mary Magdalene, Simon Peter, and the other disciples in astonishment, confusion, and rejoicing at the sight of an empty tomb. A musical highlight will be Today God’s Son Triumphs by Dieterich Buxtehude — sung by the Chancel Choir — as well as a CPC tradition of singing the Hallelujah Chorus at the conclusion of the service.
