Holy Week
at Christ Presbyterian Church
Holy Week is the final week of the Lenten season. We revisit Jesus’ final moments in the flesh as he: is celebrated with a procession of palms in Jerusalem (Palm Sunday), shares a final meal with his closest friends (Maundy Thursday), is betrayed, tried, and sent to the cross to die (Good Friday), and conquers death by rising from the grave (Easter Sunday).
Palm Sunday
Join us for worship on March 29th as we begin our Holy Week journey.
Kids and Families!
Kids and those feeling youthful at heart are invited march/skip/dance in our traditional Palm Processional, occurring at both 9am and 11am worship. We meet in the Emmaus Room (back of the sanctuary) at the start of each service. After the processional, kids will return to their grown-ups. Following the Kids’ Moment, kids are invited to join us for Little Kids’ Ministry (ages 3 – 7ish) and Kids’ Ministry (ages 7 and up). As always, the nursery is available too. We look forward to kicking off Holy Week with you and those special kids in your life!
*We ask that kids under age four have an adult accompany them on the processional.*
