Jessica Salt (she/her)
Jessica lives in Waunakee, and has a lot of pastoral experience, including two stints as an interim for fairly large, multi-staff congregations in the Detroit area in the 2000s. She earned her Master of Divinity Degree at Princeton Theological Seminary in 2001 and her Doctor of Ministry Degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in 2009.
Once she came to the Madison area around 2010, she served as temporary leader at Pres House while pastors Erica Liu and Mark Elsdon were on sabbatical. She served as a Parish Associate at Covenant Presbyterian during a time of major staff transition, and in the last few years, has served as a teacher at Westminster Presbyterian, and as pastor at Caledonia Presbyterian Church in Portage since 2012.
Beyond her work in congregations, she is a certified spiritual guide, the Madison Regional Coordinator for the John Knox Presbytery, and chaired the Presbytery personal committee for five years. She is currently the Commission on Ministry Coordinator for the John Knox Presbytery. She is well positioned to help us navigate the search for our next settled pastor.
