We pray that Holy Week this year, different as it is, will be a meaningful experience as we who live in a rapidly changing world encounter Jesus and the disciples whose worlds were radically turned upside down, but truly right side up, by the events of this week.

Celebrating Seder Holy Week

Don’t miss an opportunity to prepare each day during Holy Week for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday by learning about the Seder Meal – the Passover meal instituted when the Israelites were hastily preparing to leave Egypt. It was also the meal celebrated by Jesus and his disciples on the night when Jesus was betrayed. This is a family -friendly devotional but will be a gift to those living alone or with others.

To help prepare, pleaes read Amalia's memories of her family Seder here!

Join us for Bean-ediction Coffee Hour on Zoom immediately following the worship service on Sunday (about 11am CST).

Click HERE for some helpful tips if you’re new to Zoom.

We will spend the first five minutes seeing who all is gathering in one big lobby, followed by time in small group chat rooms to catch up more specifically. We’ll close the small groups with about five minutes to go and wrap up with prayer together.

Two inspirations for your consideration:

1) What does the Lord require of you? To do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8) (Our Lenten scriptural theme.

2) Unless a seed falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. (John 12:24, the theme of the current art exhibit at CPC.)
