Words of Worth: Letters to the Border

Climate change is already an important driver of migration. Catastrophic flooding, drought-induced crop failures and other events displace people from their homes, and these problems are only getting worse. This evening will begin with a brief presentation about the links between climate change and migration. Following this presentation, we will write letters of support to the women, men, and children detained at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Email Angie at afdickens08@gmail.com for the zoom link. Example letters in English and Spanish and detail on supplies you’ll need are on Google Drive.
This is a great chance to learn more about immigration and take action on this important issue.
