Longing for Normal: Joseph’s Plan to Deal with Mary’s Pregnancy – Matthew 1: 18-25
Together we will stand in the darkness longing for light. Together we will hum simple advent songs, light candles and pray. Together we seek to experience Christ’s presence, the Joy of every longing heart.
Advent Vespers will be offered in two formats: in-person worship (5:15pm & 6:15pm) in the Courtyard or by live stream via YouTube (6:15pm only). Prelude begins at 5pm & 6pm respectively featuring pre-recorded classical music. The service includes song, scripture, a brief mediation/dialogue and prayer outside in the darkness surrounded by candlelight. As we dismiss, you may take home a Soup Dinner brown bag to honor our church tradition of soup & vespers.
All are welcome. Eventbrite registration is required for in-person gathering only. Services will be capped at 25 attendees. (Walk up registration allowed if there is space; soup may be limited). Guests must mask and social distance. Sign-up through Eventbrite HERE.
