The church of Jesus Christ has always been called to bear witness to the gospel, the good news. With God’s help, CPC is an outward-reaching church, both in our community and in other parts of the world. Here are a few of the ways we’re priviledged to have a small part in serving God’s Kingdom. You’re welcome to join us!
Hermosillo, Mexico – A team of youth and adults will be going to Hermosillo, Mexico, July 7-14, 2012. We have a partnership in mission with Voz del Desierto, a new church development in Hermosillo, Mexico, to see a self-sustaining Presbyterian church in Hermosillo. Our activities will include leading VBS, construction and various types of training for leaders in the community. If you are interested in joining as one of the travelers, please contact Rich Henderson at h2o.ski.rich@gmail.com. Next Mission Trip Planning Meeting is Sunday, March 4, at 10:15am.
Food Pantry - First United Methodist Church collects donations for their food pantry every second Monday from CPC. “Sack Hunger” bags are available for your use – pick one up and bring it back with your donations on Sunday, or drop it off at the office anytime during the week.
Pres House - Our next meal for Pres House this season is March 11 at 4:30pm. For info on how you can help, contact : Bob Sorensen, rpsorens@wisc.edu
