Kairos 2040 Update May 13, 2012:
Last Sunday, Kairos 2040 pledges grew to $1,819,460 from 100commitments. Prior to Sunday, we had commitments for $1,272,000from 25 pledges. This increase is good news. The Kaiors 2040 SteeringCommittee believes we will achieve our $2,500,000 goal. Next steps:>Connect with CPC members and friends who marked ‘TBD’ on theirpledge cards.>Connect with CPC members who have not submitted pledge cards.>Organize a response to a challenge from a few CPC pledgers whohave offered to increase their pledges provided the Congregationcontinues to move the pledge total closer to the $2.5M goal.The Kairos 2040 Steering Committee is grateful for the supportdemonstrated to the fi nancial campaign, but is even more encouragedby the swell in interest for mission and ministry. It now appears thatin some respects the campaign and construction will have to catch upwith new initiatives that commence over the next few months, longbefore any building work starts in April 2013.
