The Christian formation for youth (grades 6-12) involves a number of avenues including Sunday morning,  youth group, events, service opportunities and trips. We also offer a confirmation course for youth in Grade 9 and above. The 2013 class is currently in session. Please contact Jake for more information.

Sunday Mornings – Suspended

Due to construction on the building the 7th to 12th Grade Sunday morning program has ended until next Fall. Youth may join adults for fellowship in Soul Café or join in helping out with the younger children programs.

Youth Group – Hang out, Worship, Study, Questions, Games – Good Times!

  • Youth group meetings will be EVERY Wednesday 6:30pm-8:30pm. We start as a large group and then break off into age specific groups (middle and high school) during the Program Hour.  The Program Hour focuses on a different theme each week rotating between worship/prayer, question/discussion, teaching/study and fun/games. Of course we ALWAYS have fun at youth group! 6th-grade students are welcome to attend youth group and events.
  • Meeting Location: one block from the church building at Ellen Murdoch’s home, 435 North Paterson Street. Please drop youth at the driveway.

Events

  • Each month we have Super Saturday’s! Super Saturdays are once a month opportunities for youth to gather for service and fun. These are great events to come to get to know the group and friends are always welcome!
  • Flag Placing at Forest Hill Cemetery – Saturday, May 18 - Each year, our CPC youth place U.S. flags on all graves of servicemembers in honor of Memorial Day. See Flyer Below. Questions? Contact Jake.
