CPC is a downtown church in Madison, Wisconsin, with active and effective programs of community ministry. Our 350 members come from all parts of Madison and surrounding communities and represent a broad range of economic and religious backgrounds.
In addition to a dedicated pastoral staff, we are privileged to have a strong and talented lay leadership, an outstanding music program, and a thriving Christian education program. Though a diverse congregation, we are defined by our center – Jesus Christ.
We were founded in 1851 and have a rich history. You can learn a lot about what God has been doing over the past 150+ years, by picking up a copy of our Sesquicentennial History Book from the church office.
